Principal's Message

May, 2021

Dear CMS Families,

As we enter the final stretch of the 2020-2021 school year, I would like to thank you for your commitment and adherence to our safety protocols.  By all of us working together, our students have been “in the building” for the majority of the school year.  We will stay the course these final few weeks, following the same pandemic-related guidelines as we have all year.

I am pleased to announce we will be hosting a graduation ceremony for our 8th grade students.  This will not be an all-school awards ceremony as it has been in past years.  Only families of 8th grade students will be permitted to attend, per our approved Board of Health plan.  Families of 8th grade students will receive additional information regarding the date, time, and guidelines.

Although this year has looked different than any others due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, our students, staff, and parents have pulled together and made the 2020-2021 school year a successful one.  Our mission of “Success for Everyone” continues to be at the forefront of all we do at CMS!

Ms. Dawn Tucker
